From larger distances these pipeworks are helped by a minecart, because when chunks are unloaded there is a chance of item loss.

Imperial Pipeworks is the name given to copper pipes that can be seen throughout the base.

Creating basic skeleton of the page

New page

The Imperial Pipeworks And storage is a system of item delivery and and sorting found in [[Kingdom of Derglandia]]. It is one of the kingdom's most notorious builds due to its complexity and logistics.

== The storage ==

The storage consists of three wings which are designated for different item types. The east wing stores mostly building blocks like cobblestone, dirt, wood, stone, etc. Each column consists of 12 double chests total for each item type, for this reason only some of the most common blocks in Minecraft can be found here.

The same concept is applied to the southern wing, which consists mostly of non-block items much as loot, farm crops and materials.

The western wing is more complex and it can sort many items types in one chest. This is meant for items that are more scarce. [https://minecraft.wiki/w/Copper_Golem Copper Golems] are used to auto-sort the various items as they are a much cheaper solution than a redstone sorter.

== The sorter ==

The sorter is a redstone contraption that auto-sorts all collected items into all of the various wings of the storage. This is a rather simple design consisting of hoppers, droppers and pistons. The item retention is connected directly to the Pipeworks, from which items flow from the entire base, this can be automatically from farms, or manually from the player. The items then get retained in barrels and slowly get pushed into the sorter through a dropper. Item retention is important because the sorter works slowly and it could not handle large quantities of items.

== Pipeworks ==

Imperial Pipeworks is the name given to copper pipes that can be seen throughout the base. Players can throw any item into the pipes and eventually they will end up in the sorter system, which they are connected to. There are various "hubs" that can be seen around the kingdom, this is for the ease and convenience since the sorter itself is quite far away (in fact, it is almost on bedrock level).
